Green Chocolate Smoothie


Smoothies are great, right? Delicious, nutritious… But honestly I am too lazy to bother blending together a bunch of fruity ingredients that my family is already happy to eat whole. BUT, if there’s a delicious way to get, say, GREENS, into me, my kids and husband (without having to use a truckload of fruit for a fruit-masked green smoothie) – I’m on board. Cocomint Meltaways


Perhaps you are familiar with butter mints – festiveĀ little morsels made from pure butter with a bit of sweetener andĀ mint extract. I was planning on whipping up a batch of these, believe it or not, as a way to get more butter in my diet – ha! But truly, the reasoning is sound – grass-fed butter is high in fat soluble vitamins A, D and K, in addition to a variety of other nutrients (read here why grass-fed butter is one of the healthiest fats).
